Westell 2100-2200 PPP Mode Setup

Setting up the Westell 2100/2200 in PPP mode
 

1. Connect Cables

  1. Plug in the Westell's power cord
  2. Connect the computer to the Westell with the provided ethernet cable. Verify Ethernet light is on.

2. Modem Setup/Configuration
Open your web browser (i.e. Internet Explorer) and browse to http://192.168.1.1

You should then be prompted for a user name and password:


The User name is "admin"
The Password is "password"

You will then need to enter in a new User name and Password.
Please write this down, as you may need it later.


Then click "next" in the "Getting Started" screen
You will then be prompted for the new user name and password.


You will need to fill out the "Connection Name"
"Account ID" and "Account Password" will be the PPP username and password provided to you by Access Technology
Click "next"


Verizon users:

CenturyTel users:

Click "next"


Protocol should be "PPPoE". Click on "next"

On the next screen, click "done"

Your Westell 2100/2200 will now be setup for your PPP connection.
