Reconfigure an Existing Account

  1. From the Tools menu, choose Account.
  2. Select the Mail tab.
  3. Select mail.i-c.net.
  4. Click the Properties button.
  5. In the Mail account text box, type mail.i-c.net
  6. In the Name text box, type your name.
  7. In the Email Address text box, type your email address. For example, username@i-c.net
  8. Check Include this account when doing a full send and receive.
  9. Select the Servers tab.
  10. In the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) text box, type zeus.i-c.net.
  11. In the Incoming Mail (POP3) text box, type mail.i-c.net.
  12. Select Log on using.
  13. In the Account name text box, type your username.
  14. In the Password text box, type your password.
  15. Check My outgoing mail server requires authentication.
  16. Select the Connection tab.
  17. Select Connect using my phone line.
  18. Under Use the following dial-up networking connection, select your I-C.Net dial-up connection.
  19. Click the OK button.
  20. Click the Close button.

Configuring a New Account

  1. From the Tools menu, choose Account.
  2. Select the Mail tab.
  3. Click the Add button.
  4. From the Add menu, choose Mail.
  5. In the Display name text box, type your name.
  6. Click the Next button to continue.
  7. In the E-mail address text box, type your email address.
  8. In the Incoming mail (POP3 or IMAP) server text box, type mail.i-c.net
  9. In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server text box, type zeus.i-c.net
  10. Click the Next button to continue.
  11. In the Password text box, type your password.
  12. Click the Next button to continue.
  13. Click the Next button.
  14. Select Connect using my phone line.
  15. Click the Next button to continue.
  16. Select Use an existing dial-up connection.
  17. Select your I-C.Net dial-up connection.
  18. Click the Next button to continue.
  19. Click the Finish button.
  20. Click on Tools, then Accounts, then double click on mail.i-c.net
  21. Click on servers tab then under Outgoing mail server place a check by "my server requires authentication".
  22. Click OK.
  23. Click the Close button.
